Morning after breakfast, enjoy a day at leisure in the capital of the oldest kingdom in the world. See several famous sites on your orientation drive, including the iconic Little Mermaid statue. (An optional tour of Zealand’s castles is also available.)

Day 3
Copenhagen – Odense – Frederikshavn
Morning after breakfast, start the journey northwards, driving across the Great Belt Bridge to the fairytale island of Funen. Stop in Odense, Hans Christian Andersen’s hometown, then continue via the Little Belt waterway to Frederikshavn on the rural Jutland Peninsula.

Oslo – Telemark Area

Visit the Vemork Museum, then continue through lakes, winding valleys, and rugged gorges backed by towering mountains. Take a ferry across the Hardangerfjord from Utne to Kvanndal with a picture stop at Steindalsfossen Waterfall. Arrive in Bergen and begin your orientation of Norway’s picturesque Hanseatic seaport.

Fagernes Area – Lillehammer – Karlstad, Sweden
